I started officially volunteering at Sekoya in September of 2023 and it has been amazing so far. Being the Project Coordinator has been an incredible experience especially since I love planning things. It also involves a lot of communication which I have been able to work on both in my personal and professional life.

Being part of Sekoya has allowed me to be more creative, more open to challenges and to move out of my comfort zone. I work with an amazing team who have my back with whatever I need. I think that being in Sekoya isn’t just about the work, it’s also about the sense of community that comes with it. You get to learn other crafts on the job, and be part of a diverse group of people that always want to see you move forward.
