Hi✨ I’m Kaila.

To me Sekoya east africa was love at first sight. During my time as a volunteer, I have had the privilege of contributing to programs that empower and uplift the creative community across the region. Sekoya’s mission to foster artistic growth and sustainability in Kenya closely aligned with my passion for the arts, and I was eager to support this vision.

In my volunteer role, I have collaborated with a diverse group of artists and craftspeople, providing support in organizing skill, workshops, networking opportunities, and assisting in the outreach activities that promoted their work to new and existing audience.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my experience was working directly with local artisans to help elevate their craft as i am in pursuit of my creative side. I have learnt a lot and Sekoya has made me a better artist. I am proud to be a member of  the Sekoya community.
