Solo Kiguru
Lead Graphic Designer - Sekoya Magazine
Solomon Kiguru “Solo”, started teaching himself how to use computer-aided design tools in 2011 while doing his Bachelors in Information Technology at Jomo Kenyatta University. His love for art began as a child memorizing graffiti on matatu and reproducing it. Today, he sees art as the easiest way to express everyday feelings and inner musings that cannot be put into words.
Solo strives to help clients through digital design express their inner creator because he believes in each of us lies a form of art that comes out with just a little inspiration. Through his work as a designer for 10 years now, he empowers institutions and organisations to channel out artistic communication and connect with their audiences. He challenges us to take a shot at expression, “Belt out a tune, capture the sunset, paint a picture of grass, sketch your dream work-desk – it really is simple.”
