Sharon Zarita
Founder and Managing Director
Sharon Zarita is a craft artist whose heart beats for creative entrepreneurship, arts education and professional development of emerging artists. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate (Hons) of Arts Administration and Cultural Management from Humber College, Toronto.
Zarita was the first Black African student to graduate from the program since it was founded in 2000. Having been a budding crafts entrepreneur before an arts worker in Canada for two years now, she seeks to use her experience in leading Sekoya to become a professional and personal creative companion to young East Africans. Zarita is pleased to be working alongside a team who are trailblazers in their individual capacities.
